I'm having a pretty good christmas eve, except instead of it raining...its snowing!!!!! but at least we allready have snow on the ground (like 2 or so feet of it).

The BEST browine recipe EVER

I found this recipe on the internet two years ago, and gave it my my relatives for christmas, but then i lost, then i looked it up on the internet just a few moments ago, and found it!!! so i'm sharing it with you. I hope you enjoy it :)

If you are going to make just for you self, just combine all of the ingredients as it says. then bake for the right amount of time.

Sand Art Brownies

This is a recipe for brownies to give as a Christmas gift....or whenever. Mix ingredients in a wide mouth quart size jar, just like sand art that kids make today.

Add to wide mouth quart jar in this order:

• 3/4 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 + 1/8 cup flour
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 1/2 cup flour
• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup Choc. Chips
• 1/2 cup Vanilla Chips
• 1/2 cup nuts

This should pack nicely into jar.

Include a decorative tag with instructions for making the brownies:

Combine contents of jar with:

• 1tsp vanilla
• 2/3 cup vegetable oil
• 3 eggs

Pour into a greased 9x9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 27-32 minute

grandmas house....

On saturday we went to my grandmas house to wish her Happy Birthday, and give her a few gifts. Then we were going to pick my brothers and his friends up from snowboarding, from a near-by hill. But since we did not have any room in our car, to take every-one back, we decided that me and my sister Elaina (who is younger than me) would stay and spend that night at my grandmas house, this would be the first time Elaina would spend the night at any-one's house.

We had a fun time there, we watched some tweety bird, and the nutcracker. I also helped my grandma bake some seven layer bars, and a few other things. Oh and Elaina insisted on sleeping in a twin sized bed, and she took 3/4's of the bed! ya, so i was up all night long. that's soo Elaina to do that :)

So we had fun, and we came back yesterday (sunday).

SNOW!

It snowed all last night and onto today! i think we got somewhere around 7-10 inches! yup that's a lot :)

yup, so now i think there's no doubt about it that well have a white Christmas.

1 week till christmas!!! YEA!

my wonderful experience/learning.........maybe not.....

today i decided that i was going to try and curl my very long, and very, very, very thick hair in ringlets! (yea it's a very stupid idea!),
so i started before dinner, and got half of my left side of my face, then i burned my finger because my little sister bumped into me, then i stopped for dinner.

and then after dinner, i started up again, but with a different curling iron.

then i had to stop again because my little sister wanted to be in the bathroom, but then she burned me again, so i stopped again.

And now my hair is in a total mess. and i ended up putting it in a head band (that i use as a pony tail because my hair is so thick).

I don't have any pictures either, but i wish i did. Hopefully maybe you got a lesson out of this, as to not try and curl your hair.

because i get to see my cousin at christmas, that i haven't seen since i was too! so it'll be interesting and exciting in the same way.

Band Concert- 08

My band concert was AWESOME!! and i had sooooo much fun playing. I had a few problems playing.
1. my clarinet reed brook right before the concert started, so i had to get a new one, and so the reed was not really all that wet, so it was hard to play.
2. my cough was really bad so i kept 'walking out' on the concert (walking out means still being up on stage, but your not actually playing even though the instrument is in your mouth, your just fingering).
3. i was having a really hard time breathing.

But other than that i had a fun time :)

We got there (at the church), right as our ban was getting ready to warm up, then we went and just played around for 10-15 minutes after we warmed up. Then we went up into the Sanctuary of the church to hear the other three bands playing.

The concert started about 7:00, and we got on stage at 8:00, and we were done my 8:30 ish.

AMAZING!

These two girl are amazing! i could of never done that at my age. The first girl is playing a Bach Minuet. and the second is playing Fur Elise. Oh and they are both five years old!

Hey, i was wondering if you could pray for me and my sister (and my whole family), because me and Elizabeth have a band concert, and we both have really bad coughs. and for those who play an instrument, you know that you can't play and instrument and be coughing contently.
