Happy Birthday!!!

TO ME!!! yea, so today i'm 15. for my birthday my mom it taking me out to panera for lunch (yummy!) then she is going to take me shopping for some new mackup. then after shopping, i'm going to have a friend over. so i should have a very fun day!

I am absolutely loving this weather!!! i can't believe that the weather is actually spring like in spring!! does anyone else agree with me?

Our piano got tuned!

Yup, it got tuned! so today the piano tuner came to our house and tuned it. It actually gets really obnoxious to listen to...but i got over that. It took only like and hour and a half, so not that long. It plays really well, and it sounds really nice!! I love it, because we have not had a tuned piano for at least 3 or 4 years! So...as you can tell....i'm excited!!

Baby pig dissection

So for our last dissection at school we dissected a baby pig. It was surprisingly not all that much work! you just get really grossed out when you start out. I think all of us students were all at least a little freaked out to start. But after you got the pig open it was fine. We all had lab partners, they partnered us up so that someone who was freaked was with someone who was not really all that freaked out. So my lab partner, lets just say she was literally freaked out of her guts, and did nothing to help with the dissection. She even had to walk out of the room a few time because she felt so nauseous. I was only freaked out in the beginning, like before we cut it open. after i had it open i was fine. I did get really queasy when i came home, and started to eat dinner and such, and my family kept teasing me about pigs. But overall it was a really great experience, and since i'm hopefully gonna be a nurse, it was even better to do it.

Allergies!

So, Thursday night me and Elizabeth go over to our neighbors yard because she asked us too. and now i have the most worst allergies you can possibly imagine! sometimes when i do yard work and such, it doesn't bother me...but i don't know what it was with this time....but it is sure bugging me!

But, there is one thing (and only one!) i like about allergies...it means that spring/summer is going to be here soon!!

Susan Boyle, who sang for Britains Got Talent, is a fantastic singer! She completely surprised the crowd with her singing. and she even got three yes's from the judges!

Kalahari pt. 2

Kalahari was a blast!! it was really fun going a second time, because i was able to ride all the rides i did not go on last year. I took my friend Michaela from co-op so she spent the night from tuesday to Wednesday.
As most youth groups, it takes them a really long time to leave, we were supposed to be on the bus and leaving at 8:00 (in the morning), but we did not leave till 8:30! so we did get there late, but only a half an hour or so.
We swam from about the time we got there, till 1:00 because that's when we had to get our lunch tickets from out youth leader. so from about 1:00-1:30 we ate lunch, and then we swam until 4:15, when we had to get dressed and get on the bus.
We didn't actually leave Kalahari until about 4:45 because they have to check everybody back in so that we don't leave anybody there. So we drove for about a hour (i actually got to sleep too! but only for like 10 min.), then stoped for dinner. then we drove the rest of the way home, and we got back at the church about about 8:00.

and just as a random question, has anybody noticed the difference in the Michigan/Ohio roads when you cross over? yea, the Michigan roads stink, and the Ohio roads are REALLY nice. and Ohio is even wanting more money from the government to fix their highways! i think its Michigan that should be asking!
(hopefully i did not offend any of you that read my blog, that live in Ohio by saying that)

Kalahari

So last year I went to Kalahari with our church's Middle School youth group, and now this year, they also allowed the High Schoolers to go, so now i get to go!

Costume Dance

so i went to a costume dance a couple of weeks ago. and it was sooo fun! i originally was going to have my cousin spend the night that day, but she didn't end up doing it, so i ended up going to the dance. and before the dance, my sister kristin took some really nice pictures of me (those are the ones at the bottom of the post). so enjoy the pictures :)

White House denies bow to Saudi Prince

The White House is currently denying that President Obama bowed to the Saudi Prince. According to the Princes culture, it means that you are putting yourself below the person that you are bowing to. It means that President Obama was saying that the Saudi Prince was almost like a ruler to him! Now you watch this movie and let me know if you think that President Obama bowed or not. They show President Obama bowing at about 50 seconds.

Madagascar

So after watching Madagascar 1 and 2 a gazillion times, i've actually noticed now nice some of the music is. i'm actually watching it right now with my little sister and i really like the one song called Zoosters Breakout,and another one i like is: Once upon a time in Africa, it is kinda similar to Zoosters Breakout, but its got a different theme in different parts in the song. you should check the cd out of your library, or buy it off of itunes or you could also look it up on youtube.

A few things....

so...since i haven't posted in a while...i'll just give an up date on my life, and what i've been doing..

• I went to a costume dance....i dressed up as a business women who ditched her heels...so that was fun....i took over 70 pictures, so i'll choose a few and post them here.
  
• the basketball tournaments came and went...and i had a lot of fun....it was good to get away for a weekend...so i'll have to post the pictures from that too...
• um....i'm really enjoying the new piano that we got...and i'm pretty much addicted to playing it...and we're also getting it tuned in less than a month (because you have to let the piano sit in your house at least a month before you can tune it)
• co-op is all most over!! yippie!! i only have 4 or 5 days left of it :) and then i'm done with school for the year...except i just have math to finish up...
• my dad was in a car accident yesturday...yea, no one was hurt, it was just raining really hard, and my dad was going only 70 on the high way, when he spun out (and allmost hit two other cars) and landed in a ditch...and since it was pretty muddy cuz of all the rain, he had to call a tow truck to come get him out, and plus my dad has to get new tires now for the van. but the good thing was that no one was hurt :)
• my mom finally got a mac!!! yea, so we've been having a lot of fun with that
• we're going to a basketball banquet tonight...so i'll even have more pictures to post....

well i got to get off now....cuz i got some homework to do...so...until my next post!
