We're free...almost
So originally my parents, me, Elizabeth, and Elaina were all going to be going to Chicago this weekend because my dad has a speaking engagement...but then a few things came up and just my dad was going to go. but we eventually convinced my mom to go with my dad, and my Elaina (who is 5) is going to our friends house for the weekend. so that means that there is just me, Lizzy, Kristin and Josh that will be here this weekend. so it should be fun and interesting here by ourselves.

Good idea/Bad idea
So on Thursday night, i was sitting at the computer and i was home with my dad and my older sister Kristin (the rest of my family was doing other stuff), and my sister comes down the stairs and asks if i wanna go to Starbucks, and naturally i had to say yes. Well the problem was that it was 9:00 at night, and i got a caffeinated drink. so i was up till like 2 in the morning (and so was kristin)! and i had to get up at 7 to go to school!

My decorating skills
So this past weekend i redecorated "my wall space" in our room. so here's what's up there. i also like to decorate it because part of my wall space is not painted yet (it hasn't been for the last 3 years!), you can see what i mean in the last picture...its just plain drywall. (lizzy, that's one of the reasons why i wanna trade beds with you next month.)
Coconut Crab
here is a little thing i found on coconut crabs: The coconut crab is a large edible land crab related to the hermit crab, and are found in the tropical Indian and Pacific Oceans . They eat coconuts for a living! How would you like to be on an island and come across a crab that is more than 3 feet from head to tail and weighs up to 40 pounds, with a pair of large pincers strong enough to open coconuts! They can climb trees too, but they only eat coconuts that have already fallen to the ground. Coconut crab meat has been considered a local delicacy.
