My comment on the Inauguration...

Did you watch the inauguration? well i did, and i thought it was funny when President Obama, could not remember the inauguration words, that they use to swear him in!
I didn't really care for any of the other things. But i did like when the mini orchestra play! they were really good!

Book report on: Streams to the River, River to the sea.
by: Katie Braun
January 16,2009
Grade: 9th

In the novel Streams to the river, River to the sea, author, Scott O’ Dell retells the story of Sacagawea and her travels with the Lewis and Clark expedition. Sacagawea was born into the Shoshone Indian tribe. She was kidnapped at the age of fifteen, by a rival tribe named the Minnetaree. She was soon married to a French trader named Touissate Charbonneau; within a year she had a baby boy named Meeko, who was greatly loved by Captain.

The story of the Lewis and Clark expedition was filled with toil and hardship, but they persevered and found a pathway to the Pacific Ocean. Along the way; they encountered many different Indian tribes, the Mandan, Telton, Sioux, and Oto. Some of these tribes were willing to trade for food and horses, others were not so friendly. The entire trip took two and a half years and a total of 7,456 miles were traveled and only lost one member of their party; and that was to natural causes.

I got my hair cut!

I think a few of you noticed that when i posted the last pictures, but i'll have to post some of my hair cut.

Bible Study,

Last semester, my mom bought me and Elizabeth bible study's and we're both a little over half way through the book (we've been taking our time). but it is the best Bible study i have done in a long time, so if you're looking for a bible study, this one is a good one to consider.

The name of the book is: Experiencing God youth edition
and its by: Henry T. Blackaby & Claude V. King
the book looks like this:

Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God : Youth Edition

so i'd definitely recommend taking a look at it.

Katie
